Whitehaven Beach has been ranked as one of the best beaches in the world, and for good reason. The beach is made up of pristine silica sand which is what gives it the white glow. Your crew will set you up on Whitehaven Beach where you can spend hours relaxing on the sand and swimming in the crystal clear waters. You will also have the opportunity to visit Hill Inlet Lookout, where you’ll get picturesque views of Whitehaven and the surrounding islands.

The Whitsunday Islands are surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef’s fringing coral reefs. Grab your snorkels and dive into the underwater world. The Great Barrier Reef is home to thousands of different marine species. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles, giant clams, clown fish, manta rays, and even small reef sharks.

Whitsunday Blue has two inflatable stand-up paddle boards for guests to use. Paddle boarding is the perfect way to see the reef from above. Glide over the coral reefs and try to spot colourful fish from above. Try it solo, or grab a friend or partner and have some fun. Pre-warning - if it’s your first time using a board, prepare to get wet!

You will have the opportunity to snorkel in a few different locations within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Your Skipper will decide which bays and reefs to visit, depending on the weather and tides of the day. During your snorkel, you are guaranteed to see an array of tropical fish and corals. You might also see turtles, blue spotted rays, reef sharks, clown fish and giant trevally, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. Whether you’re a seasoned snorkeller or it’s your first time, the Great Barrier Reef is an utterly breathtaking experience.
