What is the minimum age for passengers?

The minimum age for Powerplay is 16. Please note that the recommended age group is for those aged 18-45. 

Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free diets, etc?

Yes, however, if you do have dietary requirements, there will be an additional charge of $10 per day. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary requirements and the crew will do their best to accommodate.

What do I need to bring?

We recommend bringing a soft overnight bag with swimwear, change of clothes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, comfortable shoes (for any island exploration), camera, warm clothes for the evenings (during winter months), and your own alcohol if desired - just no glass bottles or red wine.

What's included?

All meals (see menu), snorkelling equipment, linen, bath towel, Wi-Fi, drinking water, skipper, crew, and Marine Park fees.

What's extra?

BYO alcohol (no glass bottles), $45 per person for special dietary requirements, soft drinks are available for purchase, and holiday surcharges may apply.

Are the cabins air-conditioned?

Yes, the private cabins are air-conditioned.

Is there a shower on board?

Yes, there are two bathrooms and hot showers.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

You can certainly bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. There will be room to store them in the onboard fridge. Just ensure you are not bringing any glass or red wine on board.

Can I charge my phone onboard?

Yes, there are charging ports in all of the cabins, as well as in the main saloon area.

Can I smoke onboard?

You are permitted to smoke in the designated smoking area at the back of the boat.

Where does Powerplay depart from?

Powerplay departs from Meeting Point B at the Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach. For exact departure times and directions to the meeting point, please refer to your ticket.

Is snorkelling gear provided?

Yes, all snorkelling equipment including a mask and snorkel are provided.

What are marine blue lights?

Blue lights are used to attract more fish to come near the boat
